Bonus Conversion Stage Trigger
Learn How to Set Up the Conversion Stage Trigger Used to Trigger Rewards for your Advocates.
There are currently two options available for the conversion stage trigger:
- Single Stage Conversion Trigger: This method allows you to reward your advocate immediately and automatically after a referral is captured. For example, right after they complete a sign-up, lead or subscription form.
- Multi-Stage Conversion Trigger: This method allows you to reward your advocate once a referral has triggered a specific event on your website. For example, right after a referral completes a purchase, a task, or an onboarding process. When this method is active, the system will not trigger a bonus once a referral is captured.
Where Do I Setup a Conversion Stage Trigger?
- Sign in to your Genius Referrals account.
- In the navigation menu on the left side, click the Preferences page under Program Settings.
- Next, click on the Bonus Trigger on the Preferences list.
- Once on this page, choose when the conversion stage trigger. You can choose from:
- Multi-Stage Conversion Trigger: This allows you to reward your advocate once a referral has triggered a specific event on your website. For example, right after they complete a purchase, a task, an onboarding process, etc.
- Single Stage Conversion Trigger: This allows you to reward your advocate immediately after a referral is captured. For example, right after they complete a sign-up or subscription for
