Advocate Resets Its Own Password

Follow the instructions below:

  1. From the referral program template, click on Forgot Password? Enter the advocate's email address and click Send.
  2. If the email address entered is associated with the referral program account, you'll receive an email with a security code.
  3. Once you have entered the verification code, enter a new password and click Set Password.
Please Note: Forgot Password feature is only available on these templates: Genius Classic, Genius Bluebird, and Genius Rosefinch. These are the only templates that require a password on the referral program.

Reset an Advocate's Password

If an advocate forgets or cannot recover their password for any reason, or if you think their account has been compromised, you can reset their password from the Genius Referrals admin portal.

Change a password:

  1. Sign in to your Genius Referrals account.
  2. In the navigation menu on the left side, click the Advocates page.
  3. Next, within this page, select the advocate you'd like to change the password, go to the "Actions" column, and click Reset Password.
  4. When you are finished, select the notification "Send new password details to the advocate" (Only sent when the notification is active)." If you have this notification email turned on for your program, the associated advocate will receive this email once you change the password.
