How do I Simulate If a Referral triggers a bonus?
Learn how to test if the advocate is eligible to receive a bonus.
To run in a TEST MODE, if a referral triggers a bonus, click on the Referrals page on the left navigation menu, search for the Referral, click on the three dots under the actions column, and click Run in TEST MODE. No bonus is created when using the test mode.
Next, a modal with a form will appear to complete the following fields:
When complete, click the Test button.
- Internal Reference: This can be useful for internal notes—for example, an invoice number, a contract number, a payment id, etc.
- Payment amount (optional): Represents the amount of money a referral has spent in your business. This parameter is required when you’ve set up a percentage-based campaign.
When complete, click the Test button.
The system will process the information and provide an output with the results.
