Integration Steps


Step 1: Connect Genius Referrals with Mailchimp

  1. Log in to your Genius Referrals account.
  2. Go to the "Program Settings" section and select "Integrations."
  3. Under "Email", choose "Mailchimp."

Step 2: Retrieve Your Mailchimp API Key

  1. Log in to your Mailchimp account.
  2. Click on your profile icon and select "Profile."
  3. In the "Extras" menu, choose "API Keys".
  4. Under "Your API Keys", click "Create a Key".

  5. The first sync happens instantly; after that, it updates every 5 minutes.

  4. To view all Merge Tags, go to "All Contacts" → "Settings" → "Audience Fields & MERGE Tags".
